Scott remembers those days when TV and radio stations would actually sign off the air. They would play the Star Spangled Banner twice a day - when signing on and when signing off. Scott even did that early in his career at radio stations. Stations did it not because it was an FCC requirement - they did it because it seemed the right thing to do.
Stations don't sign on and off anymore. Most are licensed to operate 24-hours a day. So Scott & Sadie want to play the Star Spangled Banner once a day, because it doesn't get that airplay anymore, and just because it seems the right thing to do.
Here's a great way to honor the brave men and women who have served and are serving this great nation! Each weekday, Scott & Sadie will dedicate the pledge AND our entire show to a brave soldier - but you have to let us know about them!
Just send us an e-mail and let us know who you would like to dedicate the national anthem to.
Weekday mornings from 5:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Just humor the old man and recall the 80s with him, would ya?!
Sometimes the crap we talk about requires pictures to properly complete the story. We'll show those pictures to you here.
Every week day in the 7:00 hour, Scott and Sadie will play Country Star Yearbook. We'll post of a childhood photo of a big country star. The first person to identify the star and Tweet the correct answer to @ScottandSadie will win a Big Country Prize Pack. Good Luck!
