"It" actors Rob Pattinson and Andrew Garfield don't like being compared -- and they don't like each other. A source told Us Weekly, "The truth is, Andrew can't stand Rob. Andrew hates that they're put in the same category because they're both English and around the same age." The insider added, "Andrew considers himself a 'serious actor' and sees Rob as the equivalent of a cheesy boy bander because of Twilight."
Steven Tyler is done with American Idol after serving as a judge for two seasons on the hit Fox show. The Aerosmith frontman announced his departure on Thursday, explaining that he wanted to refocus on his music career. Tyler said in a statement, "After some long . . . hard . . . thoughts, I've decided it's time for me to let go of my mistress American Idol before she boils my rabbit. I strayed from my first love, Aerosmith, and I'm back, but instead of begging on my hands and knees, I got two fists in the air and I'm kicking the door open with my band."
Jennifer Lopez has strongly insinuated that she won't return to American Idol for a third season. As rumors swirl about possible replacements for Lopez or any of the other judges, Jennifer told Natalie Morales on the Today show, "I am thinking that it's time for me to go." When asked about a possible return, Lopez answered, "I enjoy the show so much. I enjoy just the whole process of the show and the whole thing. So it's a tough decision either way. But I have to say that there are so many other things that I do, and that I put on hold for that. At the end of the day, whichever way, it's a heartbreaking decision."
Kristin Chenoweth has been released from the hospital a day after she was hit by a piece of equipment on the New York set of The Good Wife. Paramedics were called on Wednesday after the actress was knocked down and hit her head on the concrete. On Thursday, her rep said, "Kristin has been released from the hospital and is home recovering. She thanks everyone for their prayers and well wishes." CBS acknowledged the accident as well, releasing a statement that said, "While filming a scene for The Good Wife in Brooklyn, a gust of wind blew a lighting silk out of place striking actress Kristin Chenoweth. All of us at the studio and the show are thinking about Kristin and wishing her a quick recovery."

A source told the paper, "Channing and Alex had a fight while filming. Those around them tried to mend their relationship, but Channing doesn't want anything to do with Alex." The hostility reportedly extended to Channing's Entertainment Weekly cover shoot -- which he shared with costars Matthew McConaughey, Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer, but not Pettyfer. The insider explained, "Channing said he didn't want to do [the shoot] if Alex was there. Alex is known in Hollywood for being rude and difficult."
Robert Blake sat down for what turned out to be a very bizarre interview with Piers Morgan earlier this week. The chat was set up to promote Blake's self-published memoir, Tales of a Rascal. During the interview, the 75-year-old actor was "irate and defensive" and repeatedly referred to Morgan as "Charlie Potatoes." When Morgan asked if he was fully sane, Blake said, "The truth is I think I'm sort of a mutation, or a subspecies. I think If I was born 10,000 years ago, I would have taken two or three people, run off and started another tribe."
Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem are reportedly expecting their second child. A Spanish TV show called Espejo Public supposedly confirmed that Penelope is pregnant. The two are already parents to son Leonardo, who is 17-months-old. The couple didn't confirm that Cruz was pregnant with him until she was almost five months along. The couple, who met the set of film Jamon Jamon in 1992 when Penelope was 18 and Javier was 22, tied the knot in July 2010.
